Trip Home to Fayetteville

As I mention in the post that follows this one, I made a trip back to Arkansas back in September. It was a great time. I got to spend lots of time in the car with Laura and Brad, I got to go to Hill's wedding, I got to see my parents and my grandparents, I got to go to Fayetteville (home), I got to see the Razorbacks get beat up on by Alabama, I got to see some of my Bible Study girls at college ( I am still in denial), and I got to spend some quality time with my dear friend, Mindy and her family! It was a wonderful, wonderful weekend.
The Hogs taking the field.....

they might not have come out of the locker room had they known what was in store for them!!!
Me and My Daddy. Mom let me have her ticket so she could watch from an air conditioned place!

Coach John McDonnell getting recognized. He announced his retirement right after Flint left for Baylor...Flint actually knew long before that and I think it had somewhat of an influence in his decision. Flint had the privilege of working with Coach Mac for four years! He has the National Championship rings to prove it! Coach McDonnell is one of the most genuine and nice people I have ever met. He and Flint got along perfectly...they both loved breakfast so they would meet up and go together.

There is proof that I have my degree!!! This is one of the neatest traditions that I have seen... just about anywhere! Every single graduate gets their name put on the sidewalk on the University of Arkansas campus. It was fun to find my name and my parents got to see it, too! What a proud moment! You can also see Flintastic's name in the close up pic. Flint W. Harris just so happens to be the wonderful guy I am married to! Yes, I was married when I graduated from college!!! Also, did anyone else happen to notice that I am just ahead of "Pearline" in alphabetical order?!?!? I am glad my parents went with Rebekah!!!

Oh, how I miss Fayetteville!

I want to make sure you got the comment I left on Wednesday (on the post that was current then) responding to your question about sleeping on your back.

As an fyi, since my doctor told me not to do it and get a body pillow I have actually slept a lot better.

Hey--How are you feeling? Here is the information on the chair...

http://www.dutailier.com/nursery.php

That is the brand & we ordered ours from a boutique, but I am sure you can find a store that carries them close to you. We actually picked the fabrics that went on it and we wanted to get something that would last for 2 Nurseries.

Hope this helps you out!

I love the Senior Walk, too! Although they forgot to add my name to the 2003 walk when I got my Bachelor's. I was so mad!

I miss Fayetteville, too!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. My husband and I still get a kick (after 38 years) of looking at our names on the walk at UofA! Hubby has a Master's so his name is on their twice!

I love Fayetteville and still get excited everytime we go there!

Then check the box next to the blog and scroll down and click subscribe. Hope that helps!! It isn't as confusing as it sounds....play around with it and I'm sure you will get it. :)

We do have a lot in common. I also graduated from UofA. What year did you graduate? I had to take a summer class in '04 so my name is under the '05 list on the Senior Walk. I just found it this summer and have been meaning to take a picture of it.
Congrats on the baby!! I'm due March 7th so you're 6 days behind me?? Are you going to find out if it's a boy or girl? We have our ultrasound on Monday so we hope he/she cooperates so we can find out!
