Our weekend started Beautifully! The weather was wonderful on Friday afternoon. Isn't beautiful weather in Central Texas anything less than 90 degrees this time of the year?!?! So, Cilla, Sophie, and I enjoyed the weather and went on a walk.
Saturday, the rain rolled in and C, apparently, woke up on the wrong side of the crib, so we opted for breakfast at home rather than one of our favorite local breakfast dives. Like father, like daughter. Here are daddy and girly girl watching Game Day and eating blueberry muffin batter!
Sunday we had a lazy day. It was still raining so we were lazy after church. I made a big grocery store run. I am making a couple of meals for families that have recently had little ones in our Sunday School class and we are doing some entertaining this week. very busy week! I would love to get to where I plan my meals on a weekly basis so that I only make one (or two) trips to the store...NOT five trips! Any advice? So, that is what I was aiming for on Sunday. It has already helped me out so much this week!
I just LOVE this precious purple smocked dress that Cilla got this past week from one of Flint's college friends. Someone made it just for her. Isn't it sweet?!?! How big can a girl's bow be?!?! It looks much bigger from the side view! We took a before church picture....
and an after church picture with spit up on the top!
And there you have it! The lowdown on our weekend. Oh wait....I forgot two very important details...
Arkansas beat the SNOT out of A&M. Sorry Aggie friends. However, a prediction from a fellow Aggie fan straight from Jason's Deli in Waco, Texas is that you will get us next year!!! Well, until then...we are enjoying the victory!
And the Bears sic'ed Kent State! Whoo Hoo!

relishrelish.com is my life saver. It helps me plan meals one week at a time and go to the store once a week. Well worth the $21 per quarter charge. My husband loves it because I know cook for him when I get home from work. It is easy to do when you have the ingrediants and know what you are going to cook. Enjoy!
She is beautiful! Just gorgeous!
Beautiful as ever - both of you!
I just make out a weekly calendar and write what we are having each meal that day and do that for the entire week. Then from that I make a list of what I will need, double check to see what I have on the list and what I don't, then go shop. I only go to the store once a week and I hardly ever forget things when I do it this way. And it really has saved money because I don't over-buy things thinking we "might" need them. Also, this time of year I will make a trip and then spend one day cooking soups, chili, etc and freeze them, that way we always have some on hand if we want to eat that at night.
Cilla is so cute! I can't believe how much she is growing!
such a sweet lil dress, i can't believe someone made that! awesome!
and hee hee, i wish i could only go to the store once a week too - gah!
hope cilla is doing ok...she was SO smiley and sweet! fun running into you this morning at the dr!
HI! Thanks for your sweet comment! And I tell myself the same thing...that being sick is a sign of everything going great!
Your daughter is ADORABLE!!
And I have no idea on how to menu plan..I wish I did! I am constantly at the store!!! HA!
I have no advice on making 1 trip to the store a week. I make at least 3 or 4! Drives Max crazy...Cilla is so cute Rebekah! She's just a doll.....
Love love love the purple dress!!! Those things are so expensive. My girls have a couple but only because I shopped and shopped until I found good prices!!
That is one pretty dress - what a lucky girl! I would love to have the talent to make such a nice dress. Smocked dresses are so sweet on little girls. Too bad they are so expensive.
I plan ahead but still have to stop in here and there for fresh stuff like veggies, milk, fruit, etc., which I don't mind cause a 15 minutes trip with Setler is way better than an hour one!
You look so pretty!
