Valentine Crafts
I have never really been into Valentine's Day....until this year! Flint and I never really made a big deal about it. But, everything is more fun with a little one. I look forward to making all the crafts as Cilla gets older- all of the fun things that I remember doing as a kid. In some ways it makes me sad to think about how fast Cilla is growing up, but I also look forward to all of the fun we will have together as she gets older. I look forward to making Valentine treats with her and helping with the Valentine parties at her school. Do you remember making these hearts out of shaved crayons and wax paper? I just love these. Next year maybe we will make these together and hang them in our windows! Go here to see the directions for this fun craft!

Hi I just found your blog! Your little girl is too cute!
I haven't made those crayon/wax thingys in years. Thanks for the reminder & idea!
I want to do something fun for Valentine's this year, but I haven't thought of anything. Mostly because I haven't tried very hard, so if you have any good ideas I'll just take yours! :)
I share your feelings too! On one hand I look forward to all of the stuff we will be able to do together, but on the other hand I will miss her just being my sweet baby!
I remember doing that! So fun! I'm sure it's much more fun to do things like this when you have a little one! Brings back memories for sure!
Your little girl is precious! I am going to be glued on the computer looking at all these cute blogs!
I totally forgot about the crayon and wax paper! That is really cute.
