Life at Home

Here are a few more pics of little Cilla. I have been terrible at keeping up with posting, but all you ladies who have had a newborn and who have survived sleepless nights can understand.......
Here we are arriving home from the hospital.
Our first two girls (Katie and Sophie) were so glad to see us but a little unsure of the present we brought home for them!!!
Our First Family Picture
Trying to get a baby and two puppy dogs to cooperate is next to impossible!
My Girl
(not my best picture)

She loves her bouncy seat and I am hoping that love lasts. This will allow me to eat and brush my teeth!

The girls feeling sorry for themselves!

Cilla's first walk

Being a mom is much harder than I ever imagined it would be. I love my daughter more than I can put into words and can't get enough of her which helps keep me going each day. We are slowly getting to know her and what makes her happy, so each day gets a little better and a little easier! My mom has been here since she was born and I can not tell you enough about how wonderful she has been to us! I kind of feel like she is now passing the torch to me and I am not adequate enough to take it and run with it! I have some really big shoes to fill! I only hope that I can be half the mother that my mom is.

I will do better at posting, but for now I wanted to keep all of our followers happy with a few pics of our sweet little girl.

She is so beautiful, Rebekah! I am so happy that things are going well.

I can remember feeling like you do -- feeling like "Oh, my goodness. I have a baby." Hang in there! Give Cilla a big hug from us in AR.

I can't wait to meet Cilla! She's just so precious! Okay... how in the world are you able to go for a walk? I can barely get in and out of bed! I'm so impressed with your recovery and I pray it will continue to go well.

Looks like you are getting in the groove of things. It gets easier by the day, I promise you.

My husband went back to work today after being home 16 days, so we started new routines around here today.

It was not nearly as hard as I expected it to be with a 21 month old and a 2 week old.

Your baby girl is so cute and I am so glad that you guys had a girl, they are so much fun to shop for.

Thanks for sharing with all of us.

Take care and try to get some good sleep in when she is sleeping.

Man the puppies look really pitiful. Little do they know they need to enjoy this time while they are still faster than cilla. :)

Love ya- proud of you for getting out already.

Love the pics, Rebekah! Keep them coming in all your spare time. ; ) HA!

She is precious, and you look great.

Just take it one day at a time and KNOW it gets easier. The good days make the rough days worth it.

I know exactly what you are going through! Take it easy and sleep when the baby sleeps. Let Flint and your Mom take care of the rest! I know you and Flint are elated to have Cilla home. Welcome home baby girl! She is precious!

Congratulations, she is beautiful! I have also found that motherhood is a lot harder than I thought it would be. It's funny how people told me that a million times but I really had no idea!Hope you are getting into a routine and getting some sleep!

I was so scared and nervous the first day it was just me and Setler. Seth was back and work and Mom had gone home. But, everything was fine. You're doing great to be going for a walk. I think it was 3 weeks post operation that I was able to make it around the block, and that was a struggle.
