Sic'em Bears!

Well, it is official. Flint accepted a job with Baylor over the weekend. He will be heading southbound 35 in just a couple of weeks to start his new job. It was an opportunity he could not pass up! We are excited but, there are lots of other emotions as well. Of course we are sad to be leaving Northwest Arkansas, which has been home to us for 10 years. This is where we met, fell in love, and what we know. We will also be leaving behind some of our best friends, the house we built, and the HOGS! It is so weird to think about living in Texas and not being able to go to every Razorback game?!?! There are so many things I am going to miss, but for now we are looking ahead and are excited!

This has been such a long process, but it took this long for God to get us where HE wanted us!!! I am in amazement at His hand in this whole transition. It has been made very clear that this is where the Lord wants us for now a (although at times we were wonding why we have to pick up our lives here and go to Waco, TX?!?!) I am so thankful for His love and faithfulness. He even cares about the places that we live!

Well - I hate that you will be moving away (even if I don't see you ever). ha! You HAVE to keep this blog up so I can keep up with you!
Baylor will be a GREAT place and I'm sure Flint will be excited to be back in TX! You can go to church and hear David Crowder every week (he's our FAVORITE - we keep saying we are going to drive to Waco just to see him).
I'm sure ya'll will make a lot of new friends and enjoy your new home! You have to keep this updated so I can hear about it all!
Hillary said maybe we could all get together for a girls night some time soon - that would be fun! Before you all move away!!!!

Little and Flintastic-
I am very upset that you guys are leaving, but I guess I'll have to learn to deal with it. Chris and I will have to start planning a trip to visit soon. I love you both and know that there is a reason God has you in Texas. Becca: I'm working on my basket of things to do. Call me when you get a chance.

Congrats on the move! I know when we moved I was amazed at how the Lord worked through the details and continually confirmed the risks we took! I know He'll do the same for you guys. I wish ya'll the best!

Ok, it's a SMALL WORLD after all! Please tell Flint that we found ya'lls (is that a word?) it is in the South :) blog and we live in Waco too! We worked with Flint at K2 (Forrest & EJ) Williams...I used to work at Baylor for 4 years in athletics and now work at our church. We have a 4 month old...and life is great in Waco...no offense to the great state of Arkansas...but I know you will love Waco--there is sooo much to do and BU is amazing to work for and be a Bear!! Please come visit our Young Marrieds class when you get here! (First Baptist Woodway) We'd love to have you :) But no we do not go to David Crowder's church. Anyway...here is our blog address. www.wacowilliamsfamily.blogspot.com
Like I said...please tell Flint hello...surely he'll remember at least one of us when he sees our pics. We used to go to Mississippi State when working at K2. K--glad to have found ya'll--congrats on the job--what will you be doing Flint? Blessings, ejw

My father-in-law went to Baylor. What will Flint be doing? Congrats! I know it's bitter sweet. I was worried during our move and we only went 20 minutes outside of Conway. Just keep the faith....and keep in touch!
